KmailCVT problems

When i try to import messages in simple text, i see that does not import a 
message that doesnt have the .txt exntension.
To import that same message is needed to add the txt extension so that 
KmailCVT import it.
Isnt possible to put recognizing the file without the need of have the txt 
extension?
