Installing KDE 3.3

While performing the ./configure step in Procedure 4.3 of the KDE 3.3 
installation, I receive the message that 'dcopidl...not found'.
'Configure: error: The important program dcopidl was not found!'  Assuming 
this is supposed to be in opt/kde3/bin, it is not there.

Any help would be appreciated.
