KFIND problem - HELP

Hi John!

have you tried adding this mime type to your KDE Control Centre? I had 
the same problem once (after installing OpenOffice) and it got solved 
with adding a new mime type under applications called "octet-stream". 
You don't have to add any file ending there and no program association 
either.
