konsole font problem.

What prefix did you use when you installed KDE, or did you install from RPM?

Try opening a Konsole, su -, login, and execute:

	fc-cache -vf

Try Konsole again.

Search (starting in: "/usr/") for: "9x15.pcf.gz" which IIRC is the" 
"Medium" font.

And report back.
