Hello every1

I m newbie running RH9 (KDE 3.1 desktop).

My question is.... if u r logged in as a regular user
(in GNOME desktop) and u want 2 launch a GUI
application that is intended only for the root user, u
will b asked 2 enter the root password before the GUI
application starts, and after u have entered the
password, a "keys" icon appears in the lower right
corner of the panel, indicating that u have root
authorization, & if u want u can click the "keys" icon
2 pop-up a window that lets u remove authorization...
why dosen't the same thing("keys" icon) also happen in
KDE....???

Thanks...
