3.1.4: alt+f2 doesn't open 2 programs

Hallo!

Under Debian Sid & Kde 3.1.4 opera is no longer starting using either alt+f2 
or K menu. It starts reading from HD, but it suddenly stops and nothing has 
appeared 8-?

Xine opens sometimes, sometimes it doesn't.

And both open always when running from konsole (no erros shown)... any idea  
8-?
