Using Kaddressbook in OpenOffice.org

So far, OpenOffice.org can only use the Kaddressbook if it is exported 
as a .csv file.  I'm assisting with a distro focused on removing as 
many "geek-based" solutions as possible from the desktop.  What we'd 
like to do is find a command-line way of converting the .kab file to a 
format usable by OOo.  Is there a way to do that (maybe something like 
kab2csv -- I know, unlikely, but something may work)?
