konsole - not reading /etc/profile, .bashrc

A VT console starts a login shell, which wil read .bash_profile.
Konsole starts a normal shell, which doens't

Either
- put your exports into .basrc
- source .bash_profile from .bashrc
- have Konsole start a login shell (edit the session settings so it start 
bash with --login)
