RedHat 8.0: GNOME desktop over KDE

Do anybody have experienced gnome overrides KDE's desktop on RH8.0  ?

I ran Nautilus from KDE and at the same time my desktop lost the KDE
properties and gained GNOME properties (including desktop icons, background
attributes, rigth-click-menu, etc), only the Panel is from KDE yeat. And I
cannot get the original KDE desktop appearance over KDE.

Can someone help me ?
