Re-ordering the K Menu

Hello,
    Is there anyways to arrange the menu list in arbitary order? In my
presents KDE desktop (RH9.0 - KDE3.1). It seems that the order if program or
sub menu is sorted by alphabetical order. Is there anyway to re-arrange the
order in any arbitary order?
