Previous versions of kmail had this neat little feature that when you created
a folder and marked it as holding a mailing list then when you were in the
folder and hit CTRL-N, the new mail was addressed to the mailing list. This
function is gone in the most recent kmail. Yes, I know I can choose 'New
Message to Mailing List' from the menu but that means I have to interrupt my
workflow. Is there anyway to get it back to how it was?

becoming much too one-sided. - Linus
