kppp doesn't dock (no applet)

Once kppp has connected it doesn't start the applet in the KDE dock, and the
I've checked box for it! What's wrong? kppp keeps running and keeps the
connection alright, but there's no visible trace of it! No window, no applet.
I have to kill pppd in order to get my kppp window back (with an error message
of pppd dying unexpectedly)


What to do?
