weird kde problems...a bug?

whenever i try to open files, with kwrite, konqueror or with any kde programs 
at my home directory cpu consumptions balloons to 95%+ and the application 
would hang. i discovered that a file named "hY??pNU@?"and "hY%17%08pNU@%06" 
and "PNU at hH???" were causing the problems. i deleted them then everything 
went back to normal. those files were being generated by ymessenger.
