kmail in 3.1

Two problems:

1. It seems that the To: field isn't automatically filled in with the 
mail list name?

2. I can't get the mail to pay attention to the font.

I have both the "Message Body" and "Composer" font set to lucida 12pt.

The compose is picking this up, but when I read messages it is insisting 
on using Courier, which I consider to be about the ugliest font ever 
designed.

Does anybody know how to make these annoying behaviors cease, or should 
I just enter bug reports?
