About the K-Menu

Hi everyone !!! I use Debian Sid and Kde3 and have a problem:

	When other of my friends with the same configutation as myself install with "apt-get install anyPackage", then in the k-menu appears an icon of the installed application, but nothings happen when I do !!!!

Why ???  Need I to install some kde package to get this feature ???
