kaddressbook birthday year

I have kaddressbook 3.1 and kde 3.1.4.  I have a contact whose birthday is 
December 17th, 1968.  When I enter that into the application the application 
thinks it's December 17th 2068.  Is there any way to fix the problem so that 
the application shows it as 1968?
