Clipboard compatibility: KDE, Wine & OpenOffice

Hmm, what did you do?

I just tried:
starting notepad.exe in WINE.
writing some text, selecting text, CTRL+C to copy to cliboard
starting Kate: pasting works with middle mouse click and CTRL+V
