Specifically, copy everything from the unpacked binary to its 
corresponding place which might be slightly different in your 
installation than it is in RedHat.

EXCEPT, it will do no good to copy the contents of:

... /usr/lib/kde3
... /usr/lib/qt3

because Qt will not use these unless built from source on your system.

WARNING the BlueCurve Window Decorations crashed the window manager on 
my system.
