Installing KDE 3.0.4 in Red Hat 8.0

I just installed update rpm packages with rpm -Uvh in my system. Checking 
the applications all showed version 3.0.4 but checking in the CONTROL CENTER 
the version showed there is 3.0.3. How can I know if I am running 3.0.3 or 
3.0.4 and how can I change to 3.0.4 ?
