logitech mouseman wheel scroll?

Does anyone know if this will work on systems other than Linux?  I.E.
Solaris/Tru64Unix?

The program Gabriel mentioned was called IMWheel, but it's been
redundant 
since KDE2, since Qt2 onwards has handled the scroll events natively.
