compiling error at kdebase3beta2

Daniel,

I don't think that QT is the problem because the first library routine it 
couldn't find (FTC_Manager_Lookup_Face) is located in one of the Freetype 
source files (ftcmanag.c). BTW, the version of freetype I used was 2.1.2. If 
that was the version you used, then maybe you have multiple versions of 
Freetype installed in different libraries and your kdebase configure is 
picking up the older version.

Oh, another point of interest - I compiled kdebase successfully using QT 
3.0.3. Like I said earlier, though, I don't think that is what's causing this 
problem.
