qt 3.1 and Xft

Hello,
  I have a problem with qt 3.1 (last qt-copy from cvs )
When I compile with option -xft I get error :
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/3.2/../../../libXft.so: undefined reference to `FT_Set_Hint_Flags'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

I have RH 8.0 with Xft-2.0.1,freetype-2.1.2 and pango 1.0

Please help
