how to unmount a 'busy' floppy?

I had the same problem recently. 'ps -e" showed nothing. Neither did
lsof +d /mnt/floppy (which I also tried). I gave up, removed a disk
that was in the floppy and rebooted. Not the most elegant solution,
but it worked.
