Hi All,

I have the same problem. CPU-load gets to roughly 80% on my Athlon 1Ghz debian
woody KDE 3.0.4 system with kernel 2.4.19.
The same problem occurs here: http://articles.linuxguru.net/view/193
except that cpu-load goes straight up to 100%.
I have no time at the moment to talk to some developers about this issue, hope
you can.

regards
Alex

Some operating systems are called `user friendly',
	Linux however is `expert friendly'.
