If you have a _tab_ named Network, it sounds like you have an older
version of KMail.
Not possible in older versions of KMail.
What version of KMail and KDE are you using?
I know that it is possible in KMail 1.4.3 under KDE 3.0.3, which I am
going to explain now.
I do not think that you can tie together a specific identity with a
specific SMTP server.
But you can set up KMail so that you can easily choose whatever SMTP
server you want to use whenever you send anything as anybody.
Confused? ;o)
Set up all you SMTP servers in Settings -> Configure KMail... ->
Network (category) -> Sending (tab).
You just add all the outgoint accounts you want to use with Kmail.
It seems you have already found out how to set up different
identities.
When you compose a new message, make sure you enable View -> Identity,
and View -> Mail Transport.
Then you will have a dropdown list where you can choose the identity
for the message, and a dropdown list where you can choose which SMTP
server should be used when sending the message.
That way you can mix identity and SMTP server as you like.
But as I said, this is only possible in newer versions of KMail.
Best regards :o)
