Alarms don't work - fixed

Okay I finally figured this out.  It's a kind of stupid problem and is 
most likely not a kde but perhaps a SuSE problem.  I ended up with 3 
references for .wav in the mimetype config under audio.  Two were 
configured to with a default app for playing .wave files and the 
third-which was not even listed alphabetically for some reason--has no 
app associated with it.  I simply linked that one to xmms and I'm set.
