(no subject)

I have installed Brahms, when I start it ends up by saying

"Brahms didn't find an Arts:MidiManager object on the aRts soundserver.  
Make sure that the Multimedia package is installed"

The KDE Multimedia package is installed.

Does someone know why and do I need a midi device because my sound card does 
not have hardware support for midi ?
