Multiple SuSE 8.0 installations

Hello,

basic question from an uncool M$ grown-up (fed-up) kid...

how's SuSE 8.0 behaving when you install it several times on the same partition? Does it erase all the anterior set ups and installed files? Does it put there somewhere? is there an "uninstall tool" somewhere? If not, can I re-format everything and start again?
