Idea for Kmail

Spamassassin is a great program for filtering spam out of mail, it does
heuristic checking(looks for characteristics of spam), blacklist checks etc.
However normally you need a server to use it. There should be no real reason
why KMail couldn't be hacked to make use of it if it is available on a
machine. Anyone got any comments on this idea? I just thought I would post
here first and get some comments, before putting it into the wishlist on
bugs.kde.com. Thanks,
