KMail 1.4.2 & SSL

I cannot seem to get Kmail to talk to my POP server. I used to use
evolution, but am wanting to try KMail.

I have a FreeBSD server set up with OpenSSL and POP listening on port
995. I choose to use SSL in KMail's settings, and any of the
authentication methods, but non work. Kmail tells me:

The process for the pop3s://mail.mydomain.com protocol died
  unexpectedly.

On the server side, I see this in the logs:

  SSL_accept: Peer suddenly disconnected

Is this a bug? Or is there something I'm missing. Any help is
greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob
