Here's something strange I just found out, I tried to connect locally to my
machine and forgot I had the ftp server running on a non standard port. So
after an incorrect attempt I added the :portnum to the end of the address. I
connected just fine. Well I decided for kicks I'd try
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org:21 and low and behold it worked.
I then set the ftp back to 21 in services and tried konqueror again.
Well what do you know, it worked.
So why is Konqueror 3.0 using the services file to get the ftp port info from,
2.2 appearently did not.
Is there a way to circumvent this from happening?
Thanks,
Tim
