Mail notification

I would like to be notified when some mails arrive in KMail, but just when the 
mails passes trhu a filter, I see there's no option notify in what you can do 
after the filter, but there's an option run a command, I think I could use 
that, but, is there a program in KDE to show a msg box, play a sound or 
something from a command line ?
