KDE 3.0.3 - Unable to lock screen

Greetings,

	I upgraded recently to KDE 3.0.3 and I've since been unable to lock the
screen ...  There is no error that I see...  It just fails to lock. 
Click the lock button and nothing happens.

	Anyone else experience this?  Any idea how I can fix it?  I'd really
like to be able to lock my screen again...  xlock sort-of works for now
(although all the kde windows appear on top of it) ...
