Klicking on link in KMail saves link to file first...

Make sure that you have the following command line for Konqueror as 
program associated to text/html files (e.g. in the File Association 
configuration in the KDE Control Center):
kfmclient openURL %u text/html

The %u tells KDE that the program (in this case kfmclient) can handle 
URLs. If %f is used then the file is downloaded to a temporary file 
before starting the program.
