I have the same packages and JavaScript doesn't work on all sites, but that
is a know issue. KDE3's JavaScript interpreter is way better, at least I
heard that.
However, you can try to change the UserAgent string to some other browser and
try again.
Sometimes sites use very broken JavaScript which is different for each
browser.
Unfortunately a lot of times it is really a shortcoming of khtml's javascript
interpreter.
