KDE APPLICATIONS REALLY SLOW WHEN CONNECTED ON INTERNET

I must admit it's better for some application like kmail , but konqueror is 
still really REALLY slow to start . I have to wait nearly 3minutes !
Or when i run Kedit , and i try to open a file , it's the same delay before 
the dialog box appears . Is there anything I can do ?

> Sounds a bit odd, try opening a terminal as root and type in   "xhost
