Antialiasing KDE2 apps in KDE3

Hi everyone,

I haven't been able to get kde2-based apps to use antialiased text while 
running under kde3. When running kde2 there is aa, I also tried running the 
kde2 kcontrol form kde3 to set the kde2 apps' settings in the kde3 .kde 
settings dir. Anyhow, I failed. Tips, pointers?
