This is intended - Bugzilla is completely independent of all our other systems.

Both Bugzilla and Discuss allow direct registration and this is generally the
best way to use those services. On Discuss, if you click Sign Up then you get a
direct registration page.

Invent (Identity) authentication is intended for developers / artists /
documentation authors / translators / etc who build KDE software.

For assistance with recovering an Identity account please email
identity-support at kde.org.
