            Bug ID: 524043
Summary: KDE Connect webpage uses horrible compression settings
                    on many images
    Classification: Websites
           Product: www.kde.org
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kde-www at kde.org
          Reporter: FrostBird347 at proton.me
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
Many images on the KDE Connect website are encoded in webp with the quality set
low enough for compression artefacts to be clearly visible.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Navigate to https://kdeconnect.kde.org/
2. Scroll down until you find the "Made for people like you." header (there are
6 other similarly low quality images on the homepage)

OBSERVED RESULT
Many of the images have clearly visible compression artefacts, below is a full
list of impacted images I found on the homepage:
 - https://kdeconnect.kde.org/assets/img/music.webp
 - https://kdeconnect.kde.org/assets/img/ring.webp
 - https://kdeconnect.kde.org/assets/img/madebyyou.webp
 - https://kdeconnect.kde.org/assets/img/plasmaint.webp
 - https://kdeconnect.kde.org/assets/img/ovpn.webp
 - https://kdeconnect.kde.org/assets/img/wiki.webp

EXPECTED RESULT
Compression artefacts should not be clearly visible, especially when the media
in question is in a vector artstyle where compression artefacts are
significantly easier to spot.
