I didn't close the ticket exclusively because of its age, it was the now
non-existent link that made me decide to close it. I mentioned the year because
at that time the link would have been working and actionable at that time and
now it is not. I understand bugs can exist past multiple years and that
randomly closing old bug reports without asking if they are still present is
not helpful.
Apologies if I wasn't clear enough in my previous response.
