Fwd: Adding MediaWiki extension "AdvancedSearch" to Community Wiki

Hi Alexander,

I agree what the search in the wikis is not good, but the "AdvancedSearch"
extension is not solution, because the extension depends on ElasticSearch.

Having an ElasticSearch would mean an increased infrastructure burden for
the sysadmins and the security features[1] are not part of the open source
edition.

I already had some ideas of a language dependent search for userbase and
techbase. MediaWiki has a hook system that can be easily extended [2][3].
But unfortunately I didn't have the yet to implement my ideas.

Cheers,

Carl Schwan
