Hi Wolfgang,

We're using an unmodified Bugzilla explanations page there - which is
probably why they're not explained...

Upstream bugs would be for bugs caused by other software lower in the
stack than us (like X) - something which is "Upstream" of us in the
software distribution flow.
Downstream bugs are generally for packaging or distribution specific
issues, as they're "Downstream" of us in the software distribution
flow.
