Summary: Asking for help with a KDE Harmattan repository
           Product: www.kde.org
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Unlisted Binaries
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kde-www at kde.org
        ReportedBy: lpapp at kde.org

Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

Is it possible to get space for having a KDE repository for Harmattan ? It
would be a fallback option for the Community Open Build Service.

The purpose of that is to aid the KDE Mobile development workflow for this
platform. We could probably establish an "external" site, but a kde community
site would be more "official" in my opinion at least.

In summary: we have this Community Open Build Service for automated building
and then publishing, but it sometimes fails even for weeks. :/

Hence, avoiding the stuck for weeks sometimes in the kde mobile development
workflow, we need a fallback for those cases. That is not intended be so
quality based like c-obs, but fine for fallback option to get the kde packages
for your mobile development.

We now have this kde harmattan sprint in Berlin [1], and I need to hand over
the kde packages to others because c-obs has been failing to distribute for
weeks. :/ It would be nice to just push those packages to a fallback repository
since the harmattan target does not really work well on c-obs (it is still a
sort of experiment target addition).

As an example:
http://files.kolab.org/local/maemo/dists/fremantle/testing/binary-armel/kdepimlibs/
-> that is what the kolab team did for fremantle.

They partially have an automated workflow as far as I know. However, I would
like a simple push way first. Also, Kolab is a company, not a community in that
sense even if they deal with open source projects.

Something like, http://files.kde.org/maemo/dists/harmattan would be really
cool. Thank you in advance for considering, and shall look forward to hearing
from you.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
There is no fallback option for c-obs.

Expected Results:
There is a fallback option for c-obs
