After install of OpenSuse 11.4 the Kde (in safe mode) Desktop does not appear
only a black screen with a mouse cursor. 
Some small information windows do appear.

In normal Kde boot mode I get a green curtain malfunction
and I am unable to log in.

Today two days after installation the Konqueror browser appeared and I am
filing this bug report on same browser.


Gnome Desktop functions correctly as well as Ldxe light desktop.

The system should boot up correctly

 There appeared a warning message the boot sector was above a certain memory
level during installation.

 I allowed for booting from the master boot record as well as well as the root
directory.

 Something that needs to be addressed in the future and allow for a larger
memory for the boot sector (by default) in the future.
