e space and if it is quite small then type du from within the /tmp direct=
ory if the /tmp directory is quite large you can pretty much safely delet=
e it's contents by typing:
rm -r -f *
***WARNING*** Make sure you are in the /tmp directory when you do this as i=
t will delete ALL of the contents of the current directory without warnin=
g.
