KDE accessibility for blind people?

Hi Josh,

thanks for your question about KDE and text to speech support.

We have an accessibility module for KDE with a number of applications that are
useful to partially sighted users, but unfortunately we do not yet have a
working solution for blind people.

The good news is, though, that work is currently in progress to port the
libraries used by Orca to Qt and KDE.

So the short answer is:

Sorry, not yet, but we are aware of the problem, and it will be solved.

Olaf Schmidt
