The python script just fetches the xml-data from an url like this:
https://api.opendesktop.org/v1/person/data/<username>
then it extracts the longitude and latitude and creates the javscript.
Just have a look at the attached sourcecode.
The python script fetches the location for every person every time the site is 
opened. This might be too much if we have hundreds of developers listed.
I just thought it might be better to have a cron job create the javascript 
once a day.
