I just wanted to get the spam away from this list, so the active people on 
this list could concentrate on the excellent work they do. 

Since almost everybody active, requested to be on the alternative list, this 
makes no sense anymore. So for me, this issue is settled already. 

Concerning SpamAssasin, it is already running on the kde maillists IIRC. or at 
least on the @kde.org adresses.

is not really helping in filtering the spam we saw lately. ;)
I am not sure if it is spam, but it looks like. (I can not even figure out the 
language, but I assume Japanese (.jp URLs))

This is simply a matter of SpamAssasin not being very good at filtering 
non-english messages. 

Having something like the Mozilla junk-filter in KMail is a _BIG_ wishlist 
item for me ;)
