Yes.

I don't think that really matters.

It would be nice to have a set of logos for each site of the KDE Family.
The logo we currrently have for www.kde.org has the disadvantage that the
raw materials (background, font style & size, etc.) are not available, so
it is impossible to make matching ones for the other sites.

Someone posted the idea that we could start a contest (and poll) for a new
logo. There were a number of positive replys, but we didn't start it
because we wanted to combine it with the style switching, and the cookies
didn't work at that time.

My ideas for the rules of the contest:

I think we need not strictly require that submissions include logos for
really all sites of the KDE Family, since we can always make more logos
if the raw materials are provided. But having the background as extra
image and the font style documented is indeed a hard requirement. Apart
from names, submissions should not include any extra text to allow for
use of the logos on international sites.

How much time should we give for each? Two weeks for the style poll, two
months for the logos? Other ideas?

As I said, I will leave tomorrow morning, I just wanted to make sure these
two topics are not forgotten or delayed for too long.

Olaf.
