Ok, here is what I did with the suggestions by Philippe Fremy in

Please tell me if there are any suggestions for improvements or anything 
currently is missing etc. This page is intended to be a central starting 
place to where we can refer clueless (ok, hopefully not totally so ;) newbies 
and where all ways how one can support KDE are covered.
